What does Youth Mentoring offer your company?
Youth Mentoring gives your company and staff the chance to build stronger ties with your local community while also fulfilling corporate responsibility and staff development objectives.
Mentors involved often benefit both professionally and personally, in particular mentoring can help your staff enhance their leadership and communication skills.
What will it involve?
Your organisation will need to identify one or more lead employees to act as a main point of contact and help recruit and engage your staff with the scheme. We also hope that our media company partners can offer assistance in providing venues for mentor training.
How will it work?
We'll help your company set objectives for your mentoring involvement and will deliver a flexible tailored package to meet your requirements. The scheme offers a variety of options, including one-to-one and group mentoring with a choice of short or long term commitment.
You will have a dedicated team member who'll work with you to make sure that the scheme rolls out smoothly and meets your objectives. We will offer you support in recruiting mentors from within your company.
We'll also take care of all logistics including: mentor selection, training, Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checking and setting up mentoring matches for individuals or teams within your company.
How will you know how your mentors are doing?
We'll be monitoring and evaluating the scheme over time and will be sure to send you reports to let you know how each project is going and how your mentors are getting on.
