Making the most of your local media - 24 January
Local and community press are a valuable resource for communicating your message if they’re used correctly. Learn best practises for approaching local media at this practical seminar featuring a panel discussion of leading journalists including Emma Maier, News, online and deputy editor of ThirdSector, Nick Haworth, Special Projects Manager at ITV Local, and Tim John, Journalist on Capital Radio. A case study from Paul Hetherington, Media Relations Manager for WaterAid, will walk you through their successful volunteer local media co-ordinator scheme.
