Pitching to news editors - 10 June 08
Pitch your story to the editor of the Society Guardian, Patrick Butler and learn from a panel of top national news pundits on how to get your story in the news. Practice your 30-second pitch to grab a journalist’s attention and attend a writing press releases in workshops led by PR experts from the third sector. Speaker line up also includes, Charles Garside, Assistant Editor, the Daily Mail, Will Thorne, Assistant Editor, Channel 4 News, Stephen Mitchell, Deputy Director, BBC News & Head of Programmes and Steve Bird, Journalist, The Times.
Podcasting - 12 June 08 - Liverpool
Come to our fantastic hands-on workshop and learn how to create podcasts you can use on the web. You'll get to practice creating scripts, doing interviews, audio recording and editing as well as receive expert analysis on your completed audio piece.
