  VSAT solutions through effective satellite regulations in Africa: that's the goal of the CATIA project. CATIA (Catalysing Access to ICTs in Africa) is a project funded by Canada's International Development Research Centre, UK's Department for International Development, and supported by the GVF and a host others.

The Access Africa database contains information on licensing and the user of VSATs for social and economic development. More information on the project is available in .pdf format here.
