Somali Voices is a free media training project run by Media Trust in partnership with Open Society Foundations.
The project is for leaders from across the Somali community in Cardiff, London and Manchester and aims to raise the profile of the Somali community in the media.
• Training in media interview skills (TV, radio and print) and social media
• Networking opportunities with media industry professionals
• One-to-one mentoring with a media industry professional

Who should apply?
If you’re a community leader, an active member of a Somali community group or a campaigner with six months experience or more (paid or voluntary) and want to raise the profile of your organisation, project or cause then we want to hear from you!
You must be aged 18+, fluent in English and available for three full-day training workshops and two evening networking and discussion events between February and April 2016.
