Riding event in aid of Macmillan

Some of the world's best show jumpers, equestrian and dressage riders and eventers will descend upon East Sussex this week to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Top European riders Gennaro Lendi, Rudi Kronsteiner and Bernard Fonck will be among those taking part in The Garden of England Festival of Western Riding between July 18-22 at the Bodiam International Arena.

A whole host of fun events are planned to raise money throughout the week, with a sponsored ride which has already raised more than £1,000 taking place on Saturday.

The event, celebrating its 10th anniversary, is set against the spectacular backdrop of Bodiam Castle and boasts more international competitors than any other UK equestrian event outside of the Olympics.
