City professionals will be swapping the office for the rugby pitch to raise funds to support children suffering bereavement.
Lawyers, accountants and other workers from London will be going head to head in the Neptune City sevens rugby tournament to raise funds for the Child Bereavement Charity.
Team entries are now open for the annual tournament on May 20 in aid of the charity, which supports families and educates professionals both when a child dies and when a child is bereaved.
This year's event will feature 32 teams from firms including PwC, Freshfields and Savills competing for the title at Richmond Athletic Ground in Richmond.
Last year's event saw more than 1,000 spectators turn up to support the teams with the IG Group claiming victory after beating Engine by 28 points to 24.
Robin Geffen, chief executive officer of Neptune, said: "The Neptune City Sevens is a fantastic day out for competitors and spectators alike, while raising funds for the Child Bereavement Charity and increasing awareness of its important work.
"Having raised £25,000 last year we hope to beat this amount this year and Neptune feels very privileged to be supporting such an event."
Ian Davis, head of fundraising at the Child Bereavement Charity, said: "Making sure that people receive the support they need, when a baby or child dies, or is bereaved, can be very challenging, but is sadly vital.
"The Neptune City Sevens tournament enables the Child Bereavement Charity to extend our support to many more bereaved families, whilst raising awareness of the services we provide to an important audience. It is also very popular with our large volunteer team on the day, as the atmosphere is always brilliant and they have a fantastic time."
