More than 20,000 people are now playing a hospice's weekly lottery.
The Douglas Macmillan Hospice lottery, set up in 1997, supports the work of the charity in Stoke-on-Trent, which serves north Staffordshire and south Cheshire.
On Fridays, 109 people win a share of the £3,500 prize fund which boasts a £2,000 top prize. Rollovers can hit £10,000.
Sam Gant, from Packmoor, in Stoke-on-Trent, won £2,500 via a rollover. She said: "I joined the hospice lottery online in November 2010. My mum had just passed away at the hospice from breast cancer, and by joining the lottery, it was one way to say thank you to all the staff and volunteers who gave so much time, love and care to her and the immediate family during her stay at the hospice. We really cannot thank the Dougie Mac enough."
Joy Brassington, head of lottery, said: "I would like to thank all our supporters for helping us to reach this magical membership figure. The hospice lottery was set up in November 1997, and, since then has been an aspiration to reach this target."
To join up, visit http://www.dmhospice.org.uk or call the lottery office on 01782 344321.
