Masquerade ball to help ShelterBox

Masks and formal attire will be the dress code of choice at a masquerade ball in aid of ShelterBox.

Devon's International Dance Supplies is hosting its first Summer Masquerade Ball to raise funds for the disaster-relief charity.

The evening will include a champagne reception, five-course meal, live music, an auction, and a raffle.

ShelterBox representatives will also be attending the event to discuss their work delivering aid to families in the aftermath of disasters including tsunamis and earthquakes.

The event is part of the wholesale dancewear suppliers' support for ShelterBox as its Charity Of The Year.

It will take place at the Lavender House Hotel, in Ashburton, from 7pm to 2am on May 18.

Tickets are £35 per person or £325 for a table of 10.
