More than 100 bake sales and coffee mornings are expected to be held across one county as communities come together to support the work of a disability charity.
Diverse Abilities Plus is launching The Great Dorset Bake Sale aided by event sponsor Julia's Kitchen, based near Poole Harbour.
It will host the launch on March 29 from 11am until 2pm ahead of the week-long fundraiser from May 7 to 13.
Sadie Smith, fundraiser at Diverse Abilities Plus, said: "The Great Dorset Bake Sale is a fantastic opportunity to get baking and raise vital funds for a local charity, especially for those keen bakers out there.
"We just need you to get baking and then hold a bake sale or coffee morning. Anyone can get involved, businesses, schools, local clubs, families or individuals."
The event taps into the current boom around baking sparked by TV shows such as The Great British Bake Off.
The charity hopes that more than 100 bake sales and coffee mornings will be held to support the charity's work with children and adults with physical and learning disabilities.
