Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli and his actress wife Nikki have been named as celebrity ambassadors for Caudwell Children.
The Italian-born chef, author and restaurateur has been given the title in recognition of his fundraising and promotional work.
He was first introduced to Caudwell Children, based in Stoke-on-Trent, by pal Peter Andre. Since then Aldo and Nikki have attended several events and spent time with children which the charity supports.
Model and actress Nikki said: "Aldo and I are thrilled to become ambassadors for Caudwell Children, the work they do is fantastic and we look forward to working closely with them in the future."
Aldo and Nikki join Sir Elton John, Penny Lancaster-Stewart and singer Peter as ambassadors of the charity which provides support for disabled children living in the UK.
Trudi Beswick, chief executive of Caudwell Children, said: "Aldo and Nikki were a big hit with the kids at last year's Butterfly Ball and since then they have been active supporters of the charity. We are delighted to welcome them both as ambassadors and we are already exploring some exciting new projects together."
