Comedy night highlights peace

Eight comedians are taking to the stage to help support peace in war-torn countries.

Acts including Sean Hughes, Zoe Lyons, Richard Herring, and Patrick Monahan will all take part in Are You Taking The Peace in aid of International Alert.

The evening at London's Bloomsbury Theatre will raise funds for the charity, which works with people affected by violent conflict in more than 25 war-torn countries to improve their prospects of peace.

The comedy gala, compered by Alistair Barrie, will take place at 7.30pm on May 23.
