Park Life to celebrate diversity

More than 2,000 people are expected to attend an annual community fair taking place in east London.

Park Life, has been organised by Friends Of Mile End Park, to celebrate cultural diversity and strengthen community ties in Tower Hamlets.

Events include an art exhibition, screen printing, jewellery making, music from The East London Community Band and the DogOlympiks dog show held by Tower Hamlets Warden Service. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy trampolining, volleyball and relay races.

Park Life will also be welcoming London Wildlife Trust, which will be holding a seed planting workshop for young gardeners.

Park Life takes place at Mile End Park on July 8 between 12pm and 5pm and is free to enter.
