Titanic story retold in cathedral

Thursday 7th June 2012

Stories from the Titanic will be brought to life in a multi-media performance at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral (LAC).

The Aspire Trust is co-producing Treasured, a production bringing together narrative, film footage, soundscape, original music and live performance theatre.

The piece from Cut To The Chase Productions will look at the ill-fated voyage of the Titanic and examine the stories of the passengers and crew who were on board.

Treasured follows a production of Scouse Opera: The Wedding last year, which was supported by the Arts Council of England.

The production is taking place from October 1 to 6 at 8pm at LAC, St James' Mount, in Liverpool.

Tickets cost £15, £10 concessions. For tickets call Bill Elms on 0151 2450135 or email bill@billelms.com.
