Fundraiser to end as it started

Two pony riders who took part in a charity trek will get back in the saddle to deliver their donation.

Anne Wayte and Jo Pinnington raised £560 for Age UK Norfolk when they took part in an 18-mile trek.

The two friends will head to Grays Fair Court, an Age UK Norfolk Community Support centre, in New Costessey, on their ponies to deliver the cheque.

They will be greeted by staff and service users when they arrive at the centre on July 19.

Gina Dennison, manager of Grays Fair Court, said: "We are delighted to receive this donation. The money will go towards purchasing some much needed recliner chairs for our respite unit."
