Description of role:
We are looking for someone to work in our lively and friendly London office across Media Trust, Media Trust Productions and Community Channel. The individual will support the IT Manager and the Office Manager in meeting the administrative requirements of our entire organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- welcome and assist all guests arriving at our offices
- answer the phone and deal with any subsequent enquiries
- deal with couriers delivering to and collecting from our offices
- open and distribute post daily
- monitor and order office supplies
- enter personnel and financial information on to internal systems
- ensure office is kept orderly and tidy
- book train tickets for staff
- assist with meeting room bookings
- assist with any other duties required by the Office Manager
This would suit someone with the following attributes:
- smartly presented and professional individual, essential for dealing with visitors and clients in person and over the phone / via email
- good knowledge of Microsoft Office and confident using email and the internet
- confident to learn Apple Mac Software and systems
- good organisational skills including punctuality
- either experience of administrative work or proven ability to work without supervision
- knowledge of the media industry would be an advantage
