First Shots: Identity Uncovered

Media Trust has joined forces with Channel 4 to offer 16-25 year olds the chance to make a short film that celebrates Black History Month. We are looking for underrepresented voices, from any ethnic background, and people that wouldn't usually get a chance to make a film.

Those judged to have the best 10 ideas as selected by a high profile panel, will receive filmmaking training and the support of an industry professional mentor to bring their creative idea to life. The final films will be shown at a special screening in London at the end of October and on the Community Channel – with some possibly on Channel 4!
