Community Voices has helped disadvantaged and isolated communities find a voice through digital media. 



In London, Community Voices helped diverse communities, providing tools and resources, awards and digital mentoring to empower them with confidence and skills to find their voice and make it heard.

• Goldsmiths Community Association is a residents group in Catford who used film and photography to strengthen community links.
   
• Tower Hamlets Interfaith Youth Forum used photography to bring young people of different faiths together.
   
• Out for Our Children is a group of same sex parents and their children who worked with animation to create a resource for their community.
   
• Sister Circle based in Whitechapel is a group of women of different ethnic backgrounds who created a sound exhibition to highlight their stories.
   
• Club Soda, a group of people with learning disabilities in Croydon, were empowered through learning and using video.
   
• Netbuddy is an interactive online website supporting people with learning disabilities.  An Inspiring Voices award winner.
   
• The Connection at St. Martin’s worked with homeless people and digital photography to help them find their voice. An Inspiring Voices award winner.
   
• Refugee Youth includes a digital media project which captures the young refugee experience in music, film and web.  An Inspiring Voices award winner.
  
  
• This Is My Story - a group from South London made short films to speak out about their neighbourhood issues.
   
• Young Person’s Guide to East London.  Seeing this area through the eyes of young people.  An Inspiring Voices award winner.
   
• KOVE – a group that works to improve the quality of life for older people in Camden and get their voice heard.  An Inspiring Voices award winner.
   
• Youth Voice in Southwark enabled young people to create and distribute a new magazine for other young people.  An Inspiring Voices award winner.
