In 2010, with funding from DCLG, we selected 25 community projects across England to receive start-up funding as well as a package of support including training, volunteer media mentoring, and access to free resources. We also made awards to 23 communities demonstrating the inspiring use of digital media in disadvantaged communities under our Inspiring Voices scheme.
