About the community:

Inspire is a Nottingham-based group of people with learning disabilities. They want everyone with learning disabilities to enjoy their life as much as they're able. They provide services and support to help develop their potential for living full and independent lives.

What they plan to do with the grant:

The group from Inspire Nottingham is made up of people with learning disabilities who feel voiceless and ignored. They intend to use the grant to create an exhibition called 'Shouting OUT!' using photographs and videos to tell their stories and helping them to learn new skills.

What they hope to achieve with the project:

Through the project they hope to show others in Nottingham that those with learning difficulties have more in common with them than they think. They want to be recognised, to feel important and respected, to feel worthwhile as members of the wider community.
