Reporting poverty in the UK
This is a practical guide for journalists - this booklet is not a political pamphlet.
It is precisely what it says on the cover, a practical guide to reporting an issue that is either not reported at all or is hidden by the fog of debate that it aims to demistify.
Written by David Seymour, it is a collaborative effort produced by Media Trust, the Society of Editors and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

Reporting diversity
Reporting diversity was developed by the Society of Editors and Media Trust and funded by the Cohesion and Faiths Unit of the Home Office.
This guide offers advice and practical help to journalists about how to rise to the challenge and avoid the perils and pitfalls of reporting community issues.
The report was written by Geoff Elliott CBE, to raise awareness and drive the debate about community cohesion.
