Our Youth Media team creates and delivers innovative projects and campaigns that empower young people to have a voice. They develop a wide range of skills that enable them to reach their potential through training, mentoring, networking and work experience opportunities. Through our strong partnerships with the media industry, content made by young people is distributed to reach local and national audiences. We have supported young people to produce content for platforms including Community Channel, MTV, Channel 4, BBC, ITV News, The Guardian, The Sun, The Times and Sky News.

We are looking for two new Project Coordinators to support the delivery of some exciting projects working closely with young people and volunteers from the Media Industry.
One of the successful candidates will be working on Transforming Hidden Talent - a youth employability programme that aims to provide opportunities for young people to learn new skills, enter employment and give them a voice in their communities. They will help coordinate the programme’s logistics, linking up with creative industries and professionals to support 100 young people into employment. Travel across the country and occasional overnight stays will also be a part of this role.
The other successful candidate will be working on The Vlogstar Challenge - a video blogging training programme and competition for young people from across London and Essex. They will be responsible for supporting in the delivery of the programme, including facilitating workshops and outreach to schools and youth organisations.
The successful candidates will also be working on other youth projects throughout the year. These could include projects such as Breaking Into News, a national competition we run with ITN as well as other exciting projects working with young people and the Media Industry.
We are looking for passionate candidates with an enthusiasm for working with young people, an interest in gaining project management experience and exceptional communication and organisational skills.
